Steve Williams replaces Darren Harriott at Southampton's Stand-Up Comedy ClubÂ
Steve Williams is more topical than the news! His Welsh genes allow him to have a totally different aspect on life although he hasnât lost any of the traditional Welsh values, and he never fails to surprise and engage audiences with his hybrid of bizarre stories, larger than life physicality, spontaneous improvisation and skewed view of everyday life.
"One of the UKâs finest comedians" - Metro
"Will leave you wanting more, the sign of a good comedian" - Comedy Central
He has supported Lee Mack on tour, appeared on Michael McIntyreâs Comedy Roadshow and was nominated for a prestigious Chortle Award. Steve is rarely in Bournemouth and, outside of his TV work and national tour, this is gold plated rare chance to see him live.

Raj Poojara at Southampton's Stand-Up Comedy Club near me
If you were to look at Raj, youâd think what most people think⌠where the hell is he from? Once you get to know him (and his love for saving money wherever possible), you can easily establish that heâs Indian.
Born & bred in London, Raj is the only son and youngest child. His parents had two children, you know, of which one didnât work outâŚ
They were proud when their only son passed his A-levels and went on to study Economics at University. They were even more proud when he graduated and became a Private Banker.
So, the obvious next step was to become a comedianâŚ
Growing up watching some of the greats and being the âfunny guyâ, a.k.a âthe one with the great personalityâ, Raj decided to take the leap of faith into the world of comedy!
His first performance at the Londonâs Backyard Comedy club went so well that his second gig was in front of a sold-out theatre as the opening act.
After the feeling he got coming off that stage, he knew this was the path he wanted to follow, fighting for as much stage time as possible while always working on new material.
