Steve Hewlett is an International Comedy Ventriloquist who has been performing for three decades.
Steve Hewlett came to fame as he was awarded a āWildcardā to book his place in the Britainās Got Talent Grand Final. This then bloomed into having a 45-date UK theatre show called āThinking Inside the Boxā and his 2nd UK Theatre Tour ā30 Years of Talking to Myself.ā

Steve has also toured in America with The Legendary Osmondās, in The Moon River Theatre, Branson, Missouri and Falls Casino Niagara Falls in Canada.
On top of this, he has worked for Sire Ken Dodd, Jethro, Ricky Tomlinson, Rob Beckett, Hal Cruttenden, The Stylistics, Kenny G and Craig David!Ā
Within television, he has worked alongside some of the best including Sir Bruce Forsyth, Des O Connor, Jonathan Ross, Ant & Dec, Stephen Mulhern, Sacha Baron Cohen, Craig Revel Horwood & Simon Cowell.
Ventriloquists need the right venue, which is why Steve is proud to have worked at some of the finest, includingĀ The Round House, Ronnie Scottās, Shakespeareās Globe Theatre, Her Majestyās Theatre, The Palladium and The Royal Albert HallĀ in London including four Christmas Seasons hostingĀ The Incredible Thursford Christmas SpectacularĀ in Norfolk.Ā
Steve has also ventured out to sea, enjoying his time on ships from The Disney Magic to The famous QE2, and has also entertained passengers on the docks of Dover, Hong Kong, Sydney Harbour and New York City!
His 3rd UK Tour āA Day in the Life of Arthur Lagerā is a brand-new show with a unique style, to push himself in a good way. Although the pandemic paused this, he stepped foot back onto the stage in 2021/22. This gave him the time to edit his upcoming book Ventriloquest, which he pays tribute to his peers in the Art of Ventriloquism. During this time, Steve also launched his brand-new lockdown podcast Eyes & Teeth, where he brings in his comedy and variety favourites from TV, Radio, Theatre, Comedy Clubs, Corporate and Cruises.Ā
