She was a Roundhouse Poetry Slam finalist, before she joined the Roundhouse Poetry Collective and subsequently spent a year as Roundhouse Resident Artist.

On social media, she’s captivated over 150k followers, garnered more than 6.8 million views and her work has been shared by Malorie Blackman, Adrian Lester and British pop-rock band Bastille who said her poetry was ‘fucking brilliant’.

Laurie Bolger is a London based writer, standup & the founder of The Creative Writing Breakfast Club. Laurie’s work has been widely anthologised & has featured at Glastonbury, TATE & Sky Arts. Laurie’s first publication ‘Box Rooms’ celebrated community & her working class London-Irish roots. 

Laurie was the winner of The Moth Poetry Prize & was shortlisted for The Sylvia Plath, Bridport & Forward Poetry Prize.
