 Join us at The Attic in Southampton as we reach the thrilling Semi Finals of the Southampton Comedian of the Year competition. Get ready to witness the finest up and coming comedians in and around Southampton as they compete for the prestigious title.

Southampton Comedian of the Year Semi Final 2

After weeks of Heats, the competition is heating up, bringing us one step closer to crowning the ultimate winner. The Semi Finals and Grand Final will be determined by a combination of audience and judge votes. Contestants who receive the highest audience votes will advance, provided they rank in the top half of the judges' scores. Once all the acts have performed, each audience member will have the opportunity to cast their vote for two acts on their ticket. The results, revealing the talented performers who will move forward, will be announced on the day of the event.

In addition to the main competition, special categories will be featured for young performers and Rookie of the Year. These participants will compete alongside others and will be judged separately in their respective categories. The winners in these additional categories will be selected from those who make it to the Grand Final, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event. Semi Final 1 is at 3pm for a 4pm start. 

Semi Final 2 is at 7pm for a 8pm start.

 

Additional competition categories with a trophy up for grabs are young performer (under 30), Rookie of the year (those who have only started gigging in the last 18 months) and Southampton Female Comedian of the year.
